Bakers C and C Fall Classes

The leaves are falling. The weather has turned crisp. This could only mean one thing... new fall classes from Bakers C and C! Bakers has already launched it's 2010 Fall Class Schedule on October 16. If you haven't yet attended a class at Bakers C and C, my question is: What are you waiting for? The classes are scheduled on most Saturdays beginning at 10:00 a.m. and the ideas, recipes and information you can glean out of a single class is inspiring! The classes fill up quickly. However, we always have room and we'll gladly set out a chair or two for overflow students. What better way to spend a Saturday morning with your children, your spouse, your parents, than to gather great ideas for treats or projects for the upcoming holiday season. Not to mention you get the opportunity to sample those mouth watering delicacies while the instructor shows you step by step how to make them. Personally, that's one of my favorite part of the classes.

Bakers' Fall Class schedule is as follows and the classes begin at 10:00 a.m.:

November 6 - Chocolate Tempering w/ Susan Lahargoue ($10.00 fee)
November 13 - Mint Sandwiches and Treats w/ GeAnna Allsop ($10.00 fee)
November 20 - Gingerbread Houses (Part 1) w/ Cindy Jo Robinson (Fee T.B.A.)
November 27 - Chocolate Tempering w/ Susan Lahargoue ($10.00 fee)
December 4 - Gingerbread Houses (Part 2) w/ Cindy Jo Robinson (Fee T.B.A.)
December 11 - Gingerbread Cookies w/ Cindy Jo Robinson ($10.00 fee)

Don't miss another opportunity to learn fun and interesting ways to celebrate the season with what your family yearns for most: chocolate, cookies and other treats. Our instructors have 25 years of experience teaching these classes and you will not leave disappointed.

Also, don't forget about Bakers' sale on Peters 5 lb. bricks of caramel for $13.92 for the month of October only. So run, don't walk, and pick up a few bricks to keep on hand. Caramel, especially caramel covered in chocolate, is good for the soul.

Do you have an easy way to make caramel apples or other treats using caramel? I (being the novice baker that I am) would love some suggestions for making and decorating them. Please share your ideas and recipes on this post!
